After amending all spelling mistakes, I then did further research and adjusted my double page spread to look professional and authentic.

Double Page Spread Layout

 

This is the way I want my double page spread laid out. I have decided to go for one large, dominant image and five other small images of the same character but in different positions. I have done this so that it is clear who the interview is about.

I havent posted on my blog for a while as i have been working on creating my final contents and double page spread.

I will soon be uploading my final 3 products.

Front Cover Drafts

Draft 1

Here is my first draft, i used an urban style image to relate to the RnB theme, I also used a Spash large to relate to the heading.

Draft 2

Here is my second draft, i have added some more conventions such as more headlines and a barcode. I have also made the splash stand out more and changed the font and colour.

Draft 3

On this draft i have removed the masthead from down the side of the page as this balanced the cover better and made it easier on the eye. Also it was more conventional.

Draft 4

On this draft i added another headline to go onto the cover so that it filled the blank space on the left hand side. I also made the splash larger so that it stood out more.

Final Draft

On my final draft i made the border of the page black as it made it look more profetional. I also removed the page number from under the splash to make it more conventional.
